MY FIFTEENTH DAYS OF MY FIELD STUDY ONE IN MAGNAGA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

So on the fifteenth day of my field study 1, I can observe the quality of the teacher towards developing a global teacher of the 21st century. As we can see every day is different in a school. the teacher's day-to-day duties consist of their planning, preparing lessons, ensuring students are engaged and fully active in the lessons, as well as dealing with administrative issues, and managing behavior effectively. Teachers have the opportunity to make a huge impact on students, but with that opportunity comes many challenges – juggling multiple tasks, working long hours, and managing behavior to name a few. Teachers often

say the reason they go into class every day is to make a difference and that “light bulb moment” when a student understands something they have taught them is one of the most enjoyable parts of their job. To empower their students to decide how they learn best, the teachers need an environment that supports that. A 21st-century learning environment would typically include a group gathering area, multiple seating options, and an area that can be adapted for unique learning activities. And when you enter a 21st Century learning environment, you quickly see that interactive learning, higher-level thinking skills, and student engagement are pervasive, whether students are learning math, science, reading, or history.
